Job description
The successful applicant will be employed as a utility driver. This means he/she will be asked to assist with daily deliveries to a set schedule of customers. They will also need to help provide cover when full-time drivers are on holiday or off work for any reason.
The role itself consists of making deliveries of clean laundry to customers, recording what was delivered, and where necessary labeling and recording what was collected. Taking pride in our product, brand reputation and one's own appearance along with that of the vehicle are key values for us.
Deliveries and collections are made to wedding venues, restaurants, bars, sports grounds, holiday parks and hotels all over Cheshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire so knowledge of these areas is considered useful but not essential.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills and a clean driving license.
During times when we are less busy, this role will be enhanced by offering the opportunity to work within the laundry production area carrying out tasks such as loading machines, feeding ironers, packing, and folding.
