We are continuing to grow and are looking for new team members to carry out our mission with us. We are looking for Remote Customer Service Specialists to work from home while executing our Summit Racing Core Values!
Pay: Starting base rate will be $15.00 with the potential to begin up to $17.50 with the proper certifications and/or experience
Schedule & Training: This is a full time, 2nd shift position, with hours that include: Mon-Fri 2:30pm – 11pm Central Standard Time. Flexibility can be provided based upon business needs. There will be 7 weeks of paid, remote on-the-job training that will be scheduled Monday – Friday, 11:30am-8:00pm. Once out of the training program, overtime will be required during peak times.
Please note: IF hired, you may have a Tue/Wed/Thur with a Saturday rotation where you will work Monday - Friday one week and then the next week will have either (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) off, working the rest of the days (off Sunday), and hours of 8am -4:30pm CST on Saturday.
Duties to be performed:
- Provide customer service to our customers via Talkdesk desktop application. All calls are inbound. Calls will consist of the following or more: shipping, returns, warranties, damaged or missing parts, refunds and package tracking.
- Answer calls in an upbeat, professional manner with customer satisfaction as the number one objective.
- Other duties to be assigned as needed.
Skills and Abilities Needed:
- Possess excellent communication skills, basic customer service skills, and be able to interact and communicate well with others.
- Have strong initiative and motivation to succeed.
- Ability to recognize customer needs and troubleshoot any issues using all tools at their disposal.
- Possess or have a sincere desire to learn some minor technical details about vehicle systems.
- Ability to multitask, coordinate, and manage time effectively while maintaining professionalism with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to leadership direction, meet determined department standards, and strive to increase both personal and team production.
Experience/Education Required:
- Candidate must have a High School diploma or possess a GED equivalent; college, phone, and customer service experience are a plus.
- Proficient with Computers and other desktop applications.
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Automotive knowledge, at least 2 years’ experience in the automotive field preferred
