Sterling Personnel are currently working alongside a specialist suppliers of innovative and quality packaging products, equipment and bespoke packaging solutions based in Derbyshire (DE7).
Job Role: Customer Service/Warehouse Assistant
Location: Ilkeston, DE7
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am - 5pm
Salary: DOE
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and courteously responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails from customers
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and order status
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently
- Maintain customer records and update information as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate team members
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult or irate customers
- Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs
