Job Description
The Sitter assists with monitoring the patient and assuring patient safety needs are met. Reports to the patient care nurse and charge nurse. Responsible for ensuring safety of patient(s) that they are assigned to sit with and communicating needs with the assigned nurse while continually assuring the patient’s dignity, privacy and rights with respect to the age of the patient.
