We are currently looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant Experience Manager to join our leadership team at Samsung KX.

Samsung KX is a one of a kind, impressive European Flagship situated in Kings Cross, London. It was launched, in collaboration with Stellar Global, in 2019. It serves a unique purpose, giving consumers the ultimate immersive brand experience, allowing them to discover products in ways never seen before. Samsung KX serves to be a community hub in the heart of the city and a place which breaks the traditional brick and mortar approach to retail. This is through our unique ways of creating memories and stories for the consumers to experience their own bespoke journey through the space.
As an Assistant Experience Manager, you will lead your team to success through inspirational leadership, your main focus will be to support the Experience Manager, and turning the brand’s innovative vision into a reality every single day - ensuring an impeccable standard of customer service across all areas of this multi-discipline retail environment.

You will support your Experience Manager in a variety of different tasks i.e. – Scheduling/ HR processes/KPIs/ Performance reviews and much more. As a part of the Leadership team, you will lead the Experience Team Leads who will support you in achieving departmental KPIs. You will need to enjoy solving problems and be able to work well under pressure and adapt to changes as the business evolves.

Working alongside the other teams and Samsung departments, you will ensure you work collaboratively with all teams supporting where required and leading by example.

What you will be doing:

  • People management and development will be your main focus alongside the service and experience aspect by upskilling, training, coaching and taking ownership of one ot ones and team reviews.
  • Leading Exceptional Service and Team Work by always putting the consumer first, creating and environment which is a great place to work for you and your team through your dedication, honesty, and willingness to support others and acting as an inspiring figure as well as using the service observations and training tools available to develop service across the team and follow up with action plans for any performances below the expected level.
  • Displaying Operational Excellence by driving KPI’s and its reporting to the wider management team, supporting in HR matters and processes to ensure procedures are being followed and implemented fairly and consistently to create an engaging and transparent culture among the team. Also supporting team planning ie: schedules and holiday planning. Covering shifts as duty manager when required and covering for the Experience Manager in their absence.
  • Support on all Samsung projects – from Events, Click & Collect to Sales focuses.
  • Clear and consistent communication with the wider team and your management team as well as the different Stellar and Samsung stakeholders.
  • Strategic planning by identifying opportunities and collaborating with others to grow the business and improve performance as well as analysing team and individual performance and creating plans to improve results around service and commerciality.
  • Support the Training team with the development and training for your staff members.

  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and effectively
  • Confidentiality and trust in handling sensitive situations and HR challenges Agile on decision making and committed
  • A natural people-person, with exceptional communication and presentation skills, for one-on-one or group interactions
  • A true brand ambassador able to understand customer’s specific needs and interests, and encourage them to be excited about the potential the brand’s products can offer in their lives - embedding a tangible sense of loyalty in every interaction
  • Ability to analyse and perform data and figures
  • Previous experience as part of a management team in a retail environment
