Job description
Rushton’s the chefs’ greengrocer is a well-established and busy wholesale greengrocer supplying many of the finest hotels and restaurants in London. We are based in New Covent Garden Market in Vauxhall.
Due to the continued expansion of the business we have a full-time opportunity to join our Day’s Customer Service team. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, have great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a very fast moving environment with tight deadlines.
This is a 5 day position working 37 hours per week Tuesday to Saturday.
Main duties include:
- Taking calls from customers
- Order processing from voicemail, email and third party ordering systems
- Producing packing notes
- Amending orders once they have been packed
- Production and printing of invoices
- General office administration tasks
Hours of work:
- Tuesday to Friday - 9am to 5.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid break.
- Saturday – 7am to midday
Salary and benefits:
- Starting salary of £27,750 per year reviewed after 6 months.
- 4 weeks paid holiday per year plus the usual 8 Bank Holidays.

- On site parking available at £35.00 per month.
- Staff purchases at cost price.
