Administrative Assistant (Part time 0.2 FTE, fixed term until 30 November 2025)

Starting salary from £21,761 per annum (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £23,144 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to undertake secretarial and administrative duties to support the School of Education and Lifelong Learning and deliver a strong customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
This administrator role is to support the research team working on the ESRC project ‘Enhancing teacher agency with technology’, a collaboration led by the School of Education and Lifelong Learning with the School of Computing Sciences. You will assist liaison with local schools, Norfolk Children’s Services, Norfolk Library and Information Services, and BT. Working with the Principal Investigator, you will support project meetings, events including conferences, webinars, communication and promotion.
You will liaise with the programme leads at ESRC, with other HEIs and with UEA services and teams. Project outline here https://www.ucl.ac.uk/education-research-programme/projects/enhancing-teacher-agency-technology
You will provide efficient, pro-active and high quality customer support and assist the School of Education and Lifelong Learning by undertaking a number of secretarial and administrative duties including drafting reports, taking minutes, arranging travel, organising meetings, answering queries and diary management. You will also assist in the procurement of equipment, monitor and maintain finances where required and support new starters.
You will have a good standard of secondary education or equivalent experience in a similar role. Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential as is the ability to manage a varied workload in a high paced environment.
This part-time post (0.2 FTE) is available on a fixed term basis until 30 November 2025.
