Job description
The Customer Care Associate (CCA) will be responsible for customer enrollment calls to Peninsula Clean Energy customers to assess eligibility for the Home Upgrade Program which provides energy efficiency upgrades to income qualified customers at no-cost. CCA’s will be taught extensive program knowledge from which they are expected to answer detailed program questions, conduct prescreens to determine customer eligibility, and schedule evaluations. Schedule could consists of five hours per day (25 per week) and anticipated length of time would be through August 2024.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a customer care environment, preferred
- Exhibit warm, but persuasive, communication skills
- Use quick thinking to understand customer’s needs in a short time and present solutions
- Results driven and goal oriented
- Ability to work with a diverse population and handle difficult customers
- Must be able to work independently and follow instruction with minimal direct supervision
- Knowledge and experience in use of Microsoft Suite for data entry
- Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred
