Job description

Our Client, a leading car dealership group are currently looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join their business based out of their Toyota Enfield Dealership.

The Customer Experience Specialist is responsible for managing and delivering customer retention activity within their centre. This is to enable the company to deliver a consistent approach and performance for retention across all of their centres. The role will be responsible for contacting customers at regular touchpoints by phone and email, actively managing a pipeline of opportunities and working closely with the sales team in the centre to deliver a personalised customer experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer service professional to make their first move into a premium automotive dealer group.

Key responsibilities of a Customer Experience Specialist

  • Executes the Customer Retention Programme within their centre, to grow the active customer base, improve retention and increase customer lifetime value.
  • Always takes a customer focused approach and ensures quality communication with customers by phone, email and in person.
  • Contacts the customer base on a regular basis to build customer loyalty.
  • Books in appointments for the sales team and follows up on outcomes with the team and customers.
  • Actively manages and tracks the pipeline of leads.
  • Manages customer finance renewal cases, including early settlements and closed cases.
  • Works closely with the Group Renewals Manager, who is responsible for leading the overall approach to customer retention.

To be a Customer Experience Specialist

  • Have exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience working within retail sales, hospitality or premium customer service roles
  • Be a dynamic and personable individual who is willing to learn
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Need to have a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications
  • Have a proactive and independent nature
