Our modern and open plan Head Office is based within our own award-winning hotel CASA in Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire.

We are now seeking a Senior Customer Services Assistant with excellent organization and communication skillsto join our head office team.

This is a full-time role Monday to Friday 0900 / 1700 with 1 hour lunch-break.

Typical activities in the role will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and taking appropriate action for each call
  • Process all sales orders received via telephone, email and from The Sales Team
  • Be the first point of contact for customer orders and queries for both external and internal customers
  • Resolving customer queries
  • Update and review team procedures
  • Take payments for cash and pro forma orders
  • Accepting and checking internal stock deliveries (some lifting involved)
  • Sending out samples to customers and prospects
  • Outbound calling to existing customers to make them aware of new products and deals
  • Upselling and Cross selling where appropriate
  • Carrying out various associated administrative tasks as and when required
  • Deputising for the Manager in their absence
  • Transferring data using Microsoft Excel, interpreting information, creating reports and providing analysis of sales to the Manager. Therefore, a thorough knowledge of and experience in working with Excel is essential for this role.
  • Prioritising and allocating workload for the Customer Service Team
  • Quality checking orders within the team
  • Communicating with other internal teams
  • Building relationships with Sales colleagues
