The position is Logistics Associate and we are looking for a person with good clerical skills, a critical thinker, who can work in a fast pace environment. Essential Job functions
Support the day-to-day transportation operations, including shipment planning, billing, and document scanning for the import/export process. Provide customer support for Lineage Transportation Team.
· Customer service including answering phones, managing high volume of emails, become familiar with Transportation software, communicating daily with other team members and becoming familiar with all customer accounts.
· Plan and coordinate multiple orders across several customers daily.
· Set pick up/delivery appointments based on service and schedule requirements.
· Track and trace vessel and terminal schedules and generate reports for visibility.
· Interface with customer base to facilitate problem resolution and improvement opportunities.
· Ensure carrier/customer accessorial costs are communicated timely.
· Billing every 1-3 days and ensuring rates are accurate.
· Researching, filing and scanning driver documentation.
· Auditing and reviewing vendor invoices to minimize discrepancies.
· Maximize profit margins while meeting customer requirements.
