Pay: £10.64 per hour

Hours: 16 hours per week, you must be fully flexible as we run a varied shift pattern.

4 on 4 off 0330-0730hrs (4 hrs per day)

As a Swissport Customer Host
, you will play a vital role in our airport operation and will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience for all passengers between the terminal and the aircraft.

We are great team players working collaboratively with others whilst being focussed on safety as our top priority and working to meet our airline client schedules. In an ever-changing environment our team delivers safe and efficient services on behalf of the many airlines that choose Swissport to provide their on-the-ground services.

The airport is a fast-paced and safety focussed team environment. The work hours are variable to meet airline schedules, and include early starts, late finishes weekends and nights.
Responsibilities:
What would make you stand out for this role?

  • Greeting customers with a warm and friendly welcome
  • Ensuring that only customers who need to check bags in join the bag drop queue. All hand luggage only customers should be directed to security.
  • Directing easyJet Plus customer to priority bag drop area
  • Assisting customers with bag drop availability
  • Assisting customer to flights which are closing
  • Signposting customers to the oversized bag drop area (if required)
  • Signposting customers to the local facilities (bathrooms, security etc if required)
  • Direct customers to the easyJet App if required
  • Straighten barriers in the check in area where possible
  • Size any bags coming through, initiate conversations over compliance if needed
  • Be aware of customers with visible non-visible needs and support
  • Product knowledge around products such as EJ Plus cards, speedy boarding etc
