Job description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Processing clients through the FBO, checking validity of travel documentation
  • To be fully conversant with the policy and procedures of our contracted operators
  • Flight boarding: checking of boarding passes, check all hand baggage complies with airline regulations
  • Flight arrivals: processing Customers from the aircraft to the FBO and through UK Border Force where required in a safe and controlled manner
  • Office duties include telephone enquiries, flight administration, booking flights into the airport
  • Loading/unloading baggage
  • Arranging private catering for our VIP clients
  • Ensuring the FBO is kept clean and tidy between flights
  • Arranging hotel and taxis for visiting aircrew
  • Arranging chauffeur executive vehicle hire when requested to do so

Requirements:

  • You must be able to provide 5 year uninterrupted work/education history.
  • Any gaps in your work/education history, you will be required to provide a personal reference for each gap.
  • You must pass a Criminal Record Check (Basic Disclosure Scotland) prior to obtaining an airport pass.
  • You must be flexible and be able to work a varied shift pattern operating 7 days a week, which includes early starts from 8am, late finishes from 22:00pm and weekends. You will be required to work overtime when required (which will be paid at the applicable overtime rate).
  • Computer literacy and familiarisation of various software applications is a benefit.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK

Job Type:

  • Full-time based on 37.5 hours
  • Permanent position
  • For successful candidates the rate of pay is £11.40 per hour, rising to £11.70 after successfully passing probationary period. Full uniform and training are provided.
