An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Land & Property as a Customer Liaison Officer. The role will be based in our Fairmount office. In this role, you will support the delivery of a comprehensive Facilities service and act as a point of contact for staff and visitors in Surrey County Council's main corporate buildings.
Please note this is a 6-month secondment opportunity covering Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (22.5 hours/week).Your salary will be £16,300 per annum.
A day with us will include supporting the operational running of the building by providing core services that include (but not limited to) front of house duties, health and safety, security, room bookings and other customer service-based functions, including sorting post and taking in deliveries.
You, along with the rest of the Facilities Team, will ensure that building services and equipment remain operational and provide a safe working environment for our staff and visitors. You will have the opportunity to work across our other Surrey County Council corporate offices and support a variety of different services and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who has previous customer service experience and is able to use their initiative to come up with solutions, often at short notice.

- Enjoy being a team player and working with others
- Have experience of working within a busy facilities team
- Are passionate about providing excellent levels of service and have great people skills
- Have previous experience of Reception/ front of house duties
- Willing to cover other hub sites.
