Job description

Canon UK is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Customer Coordinator within the Order Management Team. The Order Management Team work alongside the Contracts Management Team in Business Operations, providing administrative support for the Sales and Service teams to deliver profitable sales and revenue efficiently.

This is an entrance level position focused on delivering excellent customer experience through timely administration of orders and positive communications to our customers and key stakeholders, including, Partners and 3rd Party Suppliers as well Canon colleagues.

The coordinator will manage and respond to order queries, taking responsibility for successful resolution of customer concerns. Using your relationship skills and initiative you will consult with internal stakeholders and the customer to resolve issues and ensure that the service to the customer exceeds their expectations.

This role requires tenacity, resilience, and an eye for detail, to resolve complex customer orders in a timely way. Candidates will need to be computer literate and highly proficient at analysing numerical data. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and confident with ambiguity and able to work both autonomously and within a team. They will be motivated and enthusiastic with a commitment to personal development and growth, coupled with a dedication to help Canon continually improve customer service processes and practices.

A salary ranging from £24,376 - £29,793 (subject to experience)

What we ask

  • Responsible for the end-to-end order management life cycle of customer accounts (MPS, Professional Print, named accounts)
  • Act as an advisor to help guide Sales on best approach and any dependencies in relation to order management processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for managing the accurate and timely billing for defined list of customer accounts.
  • Manage any manual billing requirements as defined by each account.
  • Effectively manage any guided change requests, order updates, prolongations, new order creation requirements and change requests.
  • Use data and reports available to monitor and manage all activities, minimise any backlogs, identify errors, manage credits, end of month journals and other key housekeeping tasks

You will need

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent inter-personal skills
  • Numerate and proficient working with large volumes of data.
  • Demonstrable experience of planning and prioritising tasks, and working at pace with a sense of purpose and ownership
  • Experienced in delivering to tight deadlines, self-driven and motivated
  • Experience of working with Sales teams or in a Sales Admin role, or able to demonstrate understanding of the impact of the role.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle & Salesforce.com desirable
  • Excellent IT skills, strong Excel skills.
  • Experience of working with sales performance metrics is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced customer relationship environment


QUALIFICATIONS

  • GCSE / A Level – English & Mathematics

  • Able to deliver high quality work against tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team

Further Information


Location - Canon UK & Ireland, Stockley Park, Uxbridge - this is a hybrid role with some days a week in the office and some working from home.
