The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for Customer Due Diligence Team Leader to join our growing team based at our Bristol HQ on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to work within a team focusing on areas such as Fraud, Anti money laundering and KYC and to play a strategic role in moving towards an integrated organization design focused on efficient processes, continuous improvement and supporting continuity throughout the whole of the Triodos group.
This is a permanent full-time role and offers the benefits of flexible hybrid working. Typically, this would require on average 1-2 days in our Bristol office per week with a choice of working from home on the other days (following an initial induction period).
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will lead and support a team of Customer Due Diligence Co-workers, the department’s first line of defence in relation to Anti-Money Laundering regulations and due diligence, to meet their objectives and due diligence fulfilment requirements of an expanding customer base across multiple products and teams.
Key responsibilities will require you to:
- Steer a team that is responsible for delivering timely and compliant execution of CDD client files for customers in the onboarding process, as well as completing the periodic and event driven reviews and offboarding process.
- Ensure that the team is operationally efficient, both in capacity as well as competencies.
- Set clear qualitative as well as quantitative objectives, KPI’s and year plans for the team, closely monitor if these are met, and take action if needed.
- Provide management information on the operational performance.
- Monitor the uniform, compliant implementation and application of CDD procedures throughout the team.
- Contribute to and implement structural and uniform process and quality improvements within the CDD area in close collaboration with other operational teams and the Centre of Expertise (CoE)
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in a complex CDD environment, including relevant management experience combined with expert knowledge of CDD processes and a thorough knowledge of applicable regulatory framework and laws. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to engage and collaborate with other departments across the bank. You will have excellent people management skills and be able to inspire and support you r team whilst driving for continuous improvement and
Certifications that demonstrate your expertise on KYC/CDD e.g., ACAMS (or willingness to obtain) alongside certifications that demonstrate Agile/Scrum and LEAN expertise; or equivalent by experience (or willingness to obtain) are required for this opportunity

Offer
In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a salary of between £40,320 - £45,000 FTE depending on experience, plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non-contributory.
