What you'll do

We’ll look to you to lead activities to manage, embed, define and implement business processes by assessing customer and business requirements, researching and analysing potential solutions and making recommendations.

You’ll also make sure that all processes are consistent, aligned to customer journeys and are streamlined, effective, well managed and documented.

You’ll also:

  • Support and partner with units to embed the continuous improvement culture and drive optimisation and innovation projects
  • Manage process mapping activity for all risk domains
  • Support with delivering optimisation projects through process management, re-engineering or by eliminating manual repeatable processes through automated solutions
  • Drive the culture of customer centricity, helping teams to understand the customer journey to eliminate non-value added steps
  • Recognise problems or situations that are new or without clear precedent, then evaluate alternatives and find solutions using a systematic, multi-step approach

The skills you'll need

You’ll need to be degree qualified, with the ability to handle project level stakeholders and to drive optimisation projects from inception to closure.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience and understanding of creating and managing data lineage using industry standard tools
  • Experience in quality assuring data flows across various systems
  • Knowledge of processes in retail and commercial banking
  • Expertise in business process modelling tools
  • Extensive experience in quality management
  • Experience in business analysis such as assessment and design
  • Knowledge of processes in risk domain
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality processes and the related technology
