About the Role
Base Location: Slough, Reading or Hayes
Salary: £30,273 - £35,194 + London allowance + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
At SSEN we have created a team of Customer and Community Advisors to improve and tailor the way we communicate with our customers within the communities we serve.
This is an exciting role where you'll face plenty of challenges, including the weather!
Other roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- As a key member of the Performance & Improvement Team, provide a strong customer voice in the Region and work with others to improve our customer satisfaction scores and reduce customer service failures.
- You'll be the local customer and community contact for customer related issues and will take the lead in building your network of local influencers and contacts, liaising with community organisations such as Parish Councils, Resilience Organisations and Residential Associations.
- Provide welfare support to our customers during power outages, ensuring that we are meeting the needs of those customers who need our help most.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience in delivering great customer service and the ability to build a rapport quickly with a wide range of people.
- The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to learn new IT systems.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the willingness to own issues on behalf of our customers.
The ability to build relationships and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to deliver great outcomes for customers and to make changes that improve our customer service.
- On occasions there will be a requirement to work out of core hours and travel will be required therefore you must have a full UK driving license and a flexible approach to working hours and travel.
