Customer Assistant - Foods - New Store Opening/Relocating - Barnsley- Peel Retail Park. We have 4 x 22 hrs per week vacancies - Fixed Term Contract Initially from the 29th of November 2023 to January 13th 2024. There is a possibility to extend upon successful completion of Probationary period. There are a range of working hours/shift patterns to encompass from 05:00 am to 22:00 and weekend working is expected as part of the Marks and Spencer Labour Scheduling Principles.. Preferred shift patterns will be discussed upon successful completion of assessment and interview.

Know the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions & selling opportunities

Have great product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services

Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations

Understand the store priorities and their part to play

Complete tasks with pace and in line with SOPs

Minimise cost and waste through good process practice

Follow safe and legal working practices
