What you'll do
Working as part of the Digital Marketing Strategy within the Measurement & Reporting team function you will support the Digital Marketing Analytics & Strategy Managers with the development of the M&S Customer Acquisition Strategy. Working as part of a dynamic digital marketing team, helping to shape the digital marketing strategy through the establishment of best practices and ways of working.
- Producing automated dashboards within Power BI bringing together the vast range of data available to drive teams to self-serve and working closely with them to understand and establish their data needs.
- Understanding data processes to be able to extract, merge and interrogate customer level data to build processes to enable suppling actionable insights via dashboards and other data output for key stakeholders. Understanding key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends and making recommendations for marketing channel innovation and development based on data.
- Develop expertise in the channel metrics across the owned and earned digital marketing channels to make informed and knowledgeable recommendations to the Digital Marketing Channels team.
- Present analytical findings in a visually compelling manner, with action-oriented recommendations that answer key business questions to key stakeholders. Helping to drive core insights from the data to suggest multi-channel testing strategies that drive fundamental improvements to customer acquisition
- Interrogate web analytics and in-channel marketing platform data with the aim of making recommendations that will lead to uplifts in traffic, revenue, conversion and return on advertising spend (ROAS)
- Identify the key customer journeys and channels that lead to the establishment of customer lifetime value to support a customer acquisition strategy
Who you are
- Strong analytical mindset and skills, specifically demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills
- Demonstrable experience of Power BI dashboard building utilising PowerQuery/DAX
- Demonstrable experience of SQL/Python/PySpark to investigate and interrogate large databases to deliver insight
- Be able to process data from various sources in an organised and logical manner
- Demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing metrics across core digital marketing channels and how channels interact with one another including Direct, SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social, CRM (Email / Push / App), Display and Affiliates
- Possess excellent presentation skills, with the ability to influence colleagues and cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated individual, with excellent communication skills who is keen to learn within a team with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
