Job description
Betterclean Services Exeter is hiring a cleaner site supervisor to work within our team at a school in Exeter. This is a hands-on role that will require you to complete daily checks to ensure that all work is completed to the high standards expected by our client.
Hours: Total of 12.5 hours per week; 2.5 hours per day on Monday to Friday, from 3.45pm to 6pm. You'll be leading a team of 4 cleaners. Note: This is a year-round job, and you will be required to work through the school holidays.
Signing Bonus: If you are hired, then successfully complete an initial 1 month probation period and are offered permanent employment with us, you will be paid a £25 "welcome" bonus.

Your skills and experience
Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is an advantage, particularly in school environments, but not essential as full training is provided. Previous supervisory experience preferred. You'll need to:
- Be reliable and trustworthy, with good attention to detail
- Have a positive attitude, and take pride in doing your job well
- Genuinely care about delivering to the highest quality for our clients
- Be organised and able to effectively lead the cleaning team
- Have good communication skills
Cleaner Responsibilities
You’ll be expected to:
- Clean all areas to our high standards, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing.
- Work safely with required chemicals, and follow a cleaning routine
- Monitor your equipment and provide accurate monthly stock takes
- Willingly receive regular feedback in a constructive and professional manner

As the Supervisor, you'll need to demonstrate past experience in a supervisory role and be able to lead by example.
