Moreau Catholic High School, a coeducational high school in the Holy Cross tradition, is currently seeking a full-time Custodian (1:00–9:00 pm Shift)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate unskilled work in the care and cleaning of school buildings and grounds.
- Assist in moving or rearranging chairs, tables, desks, furniture and other equipment; set up or take down furniture and equipment for various community activities and services.
- Maintain equipment used in the course of custodial work; report safety, sanitary and fire hazards.
- Assist other custodial staff when circumstances warrant.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and at least 6 months’ custodial experience.
- General knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school staff.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including meeting regular, punctual attendance, and qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend, and reach for prolonged periods; work in outdoor environment with exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind, noise; ability to move, transport or position equipment and materials. The employee must occasionally move up to 40 pounds.
- Frequent oral and written communications; must be able to exchange accurate information.
The pay rate for this position is $21.00 – $21.50 per hour. Moreau Catholic offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
