Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Technology Officer will play a critical, strategic, role driving value for our customers across our software brands. The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a key member of the executive team responsible for leading the global technology strategy and vision. The CTO will be responsible for driving technology innovation, ensuring successful implementation of technical solutions and creating scalable, secure and high-performance systems. The CTO is also responsible for providing technical leadership to the entire of the organization.
Primary Areas of Focus:
- Work cross functionally to determine business strategy, business outcomes, and define technology goals
- Actively mentor future leaders, managers and individual contributors by improving their technical intuition, communication skills, knowledge of our systems, ability to think, and ability to influence non-technical people
- Lead the technology strategy and roadmap for the organization
- Manage the software hosting infrastructure and optimize for scalability, security, and high-performance
- Establish and maintain relationships with technology partners and vendors
- Monitor and analyze trends in technology and industry best practices
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure technology standards are met
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the organization
- Accurately communicate portfolio risks, progress, launches and retrospectives to the senior leadership team
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 10 years of technical experience in a leadership role
- Proven track record of success in developing and deploying technology solutions
- Extensive knowledge of modern technologies, software development and systems architecture
- Experience building and scaling B2B, multi-tenant SaaS in recruitment management domain a plus
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Execution oriented, with a long track record of on-time and high-quality feature production in rapid iterative software development environments
- Background managing and integrating a globally distributed workforce across several locations
- Prior experience with M&A and integration of acquisitions.
- Global experience or experience working with an international company is a plus
- Prior experience working for a private equity backed company is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and make decisions quickly
