Job description
An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at the Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC) in the post of Centre Coordinator. This post is based in the Civil Engineering Division of the Department of Engineering and situated in the Civil Engineering Building in West Cambridge. CSIC was founded in April 2011 and is an international centre of excellence in sensors, data analysis and interpretation, and smart city systems.
The Centre Coordinator is a key member of the CSIC management team and will be responsible for the smooth running of the Centre's research activities, provide vital support to the Centre Director, and will develop and maintain administrative policy and processes for CSIC. This will involve coordinating and monitoring the operations of the Centre, as well as liaising with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or have an equivalent level of practical experience. You will be an experienced user of Microsoft Office and have excellent organisational and communication skills. You will have the ability to demonstrate an advanced knowledge of administration with experience of developing/reviewing administrative process and systems.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 December 2023 in the first instance.
