Job description
We are looking for a CSI Palletiser Co-Ordinator to join us at Weetabix in Burton Latimer on a continental shift, rotating days and nights . with an annual Salary of £31,604 working 38,5 hours per week
The role reports directly to the Warehouse Shift Manager, key responsibilities:
- To maintain the overall running of the palletiser with minimal downtime caused to plants.
- To work closely with production, ASRS coordinator and management to ensure maximum output of the automated facility. This includes stack down area and Hand Stackers
- To co-ordinate warehouse tasks and associated labour activity for all relevant employees associated with operating the CSI systems deployed at Burton Latimer. This entails ensuring that the customer‘s products are received, stored and assembled ready for hand-over to the transport department for delivery in accordance with the company and customer’s procedures, service levels, hygiene, quality and safety standards and cost targets.

- Task Allocation for CSI
- Co-ordinator of safe working practice
- CSI lock down procedures
- Stock / pallet recovery from CSI
- Visual monitoring
- All round safety in M1 warehouse
- Co-ordinators also need to interact with the following
- Onsite Engineers and contractors in your area
- AP1, AP6 and AP7 line leaders, supervisors and tech ops
- M Warehouse Team Mangers and Shift Managers
- All warehouse staff agency and core
- Liaise with the Team Manager on the daily work programmes to maximise the efficient use of automation resources during shift.
- Oversee CSI Warehouse operatives within M Warehouse
- Training of all CSI Warehouse Operatives is relevant to the tasks they perform
- Ensuring all team members are following all required health, safety and hygiene standards
- Personnel development and growth
The candidate:
- Numerate and literate with excellent IT skills and familiar with RF systems
- Experience of Warehouse Management Systems Korber / WMS
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
- Excellent levels of communication both written and verbal
- Ability to work on own initiative, while working under pressure in a continually changing and demanding environment
- Follow all compliance instructions/requirements, both verbal and written
- Ability to build effective team relationships
- Work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality
- Physically fit
- Ability to lead people
- Ability to work at height
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to share knowledge to others
- Ability to work shifts and weekends
