Job description
We’ve been in Britain’s homes for over 200 years. But at British Gas, we’ve never been more excited about the future.
Right now, we’re at a pivotal moment. We’ve got big plans to get our homes closer to Net Zero but we’re leading our customers through a once-in-a-generation cost of living crisis too. That’s why we need a brilliant CRM Manager – Growth to help us implement strategies to drive lifetime value and exceed our retention KPIs.
You’ll bring bags of energy, know-how and passion to our family of door-opening brands, including British Gas and Hive. And you’ll join a team who are just as focused delivering on fantastic results as you are.
Your role will be key to our commercial ambitions and you’ll have a laser-like focus on growing customers numbers across our various customer propositions, principally boiler installs and HomeCare, through our owned channels.
You will be strategic, smart, and creative and work in a team with a beautifully clear remit.
What will you do?
- Work with the CRM Lead and Props Leads to design and create a calendar of activity to hit growth targets across our owned channels.
- Work with General Managers and other Commercial teams to set fully-costed growth campaigns and manage campaigns to these targets.
- Use available models to identify priority targets and apply a data-led contact strategy to drive campaign engagement and conversion.
- Manage performance to directly and positively impact commercial performance across core portfolios on a daily and weekly basis.
- In partnership with Campaign Development Lead, develop, test and build highly-targeted customer segments and manage campaigns to be highly relevant in terms of content and channel in order to drive lifetime value.
- Develop and communicate calendar of activity in order to facilitate prioritisation of effort and resources.
- Prioritise the development of highly-personalised communications for target segments.
- Proactively report on campaigns, using data and insight to make clear recommendations to drive future performance.
- Manage all campaigns and BAU activity to relevant regulations.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience creating effective growth campaigns across a range of channels.
- Experience managing or leading successful multi-channel campaigns.
- Creativity when designing campaigns and BAU activity to drive growth.
- Running continual improvement processes to drive real-time improvements.
- Introducing trigger-activated automation to good commercial effect.
- Developing and working with highly targeted segments of customers and prospects.
- Holding stakeholders and agency partners to account, ensuring all marketing communications ladder up to our brand purpose and goals.
