As CRM Assistant Manager, you will support the development and delivery of customer loyalty communications. You will also support the implementation of hyper-targeted communication programmes, including supplier funded partnerships and promotional reward providers, to customers at whatever stage they are in their technology lifecycle.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Plan & manage the end-to-end email & SMS campaign process in line with the CRM campaign laydown
- Project manage email briefing process: Ensuring we are selecting the right message, to send to the right audience, at the right time
- Define campaign objective & audience through data driven insights and learnings
- Customer first communications: Brief in house designers & external agencies on creative. Plus, liaise with our in-house creative production team for copywriting
- Develop & maintain a content plan that is aligned to customer needs states: Utilising existing content & working with the internal studio and content teams to develop new content as required.
- Managing approvals process: This includes liaising & managing relationships with key internal stakeholders, brand & marketing planning, business standards, financial compliance, commercial & ecommerce teams
- Collaborate with CRM manager to deliver the test & learn plan and ensure an always-on approach to channel optimisation
- Track the weekly performance of campaign KPIs against targets and communicate the results to the wider CRM team and key internal stakeholders
- Develop base analysis and present to internal Trading teams to help shape appropriate propositions that are relevant to the target audience
- Managing longer-term projects outside of weekly BAU deployment, aimed at increasing CRM retention & engagement rates
- Keep a campaign cost tracker to effectively monitor performance and ROI
Accountability:
- Accountable for Currys £50m CRM revenue target
- CRM’s £2m supplier funding target
- Efficient use of spend of Curry’s agency budget
Required experience/qualifications:
- Data marketing/CRM experience including email marketing (ideally client side and/or agency side) across customer retention/re-engagement and acquisition
- Marketing or business qualification
- Business & market focused in order to deliver the right results to the business
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
- Experience in working with external agencies and suppliers
- Numerate and analytical with the ability to produce reports and derive valuable insights
- Objective creative appreciation/critiquing skills
