Job description
Critical Care provides excellent care to patients from a variety of specialities, this involves not only seamless care within the department but working alongside the wider team of healthcare professionals, this role is adapting to continue to provide excellent care.
To support the qualified nurse in critical care to provide high quality care throughout the patient admission.
To work under the supervision of a qualified nurse and assist in the implementation of patient care both direct and non-direct.
Northumbria manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. - To assist the qualified nursing staff in the delivery of high quality direct and indirect patient care.
- To provide assistance and support to patients, carers and the multi-disciplinary team.
