Eldon Tool and Engineering Ltd is a stimulating and challenging place to work and we are looking to add to our Zero hours team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a small but busy team supporting the non-stop running of CNC machines and helping the company meet production requirements.
Our Zero Hours Staff form a vital part of our team, stepping in during busy periods to support the business.
Location: Sheffield – Don Valley area
The Role:
- To support the CNC function of the business, to promote non-stop running of the machines.
- Using automatic saw to cut bar in readiness for manufacture.
- Deburring components before/after manufacture.
- To move parts around the factory to promote non-stop running of the machines.
- Emptying swarf bins
- Sweeping up
- Delivering to customers in the company van
- Ensuring work area kept clean and tidy at all times by keeping machines and all associated tools and equipment in a clean and tidy manner.
- Working within a safe environment by ensuring all company procedures and Health & Safety legislation is followed at all times.
Required Skills:
- Previous machine shop experience would be beneficial.
- To be motivated with a “can do” attitude.
- A team player.
- Organised, focused and able to adopt a high level of attention to detail within your work.
- An understanding and appreciation of health and safety.
- Ability to use initiative.
- Driving license (would be beneficial, not essential)
- Fork Lift Truck license (would be beneficial, not essential)
