Crisis Support Worker
Location: Essex
Hours: Flexible, full-time, part-time
Pay: £15.00 - £27.50 per hour
This role involves supporting some of the most vulnerable and challenging individuals in society. Behaviours you should expect to experience can include violent and challenging behaviours, which can occur on a daily basis.
JMR Healthcare Ltd are looking for an experienced Crisis Support Worker who has experience in working with challenging behaviours to join our team in Norwich, Norfolk.

As a crisis support worker, you will be able to do the following:
- Provide effective day to day shift cover that supports the needs of the client.
- Take part in working within a small team to ensure our service user receives the care needed in line with their agreed support plan.
- Be confident in delivering a high quality of care when working in ever-changing environments, being able to adapt approaches to be versatile in challenging situations.
- Maintain and develop yourself as well as develop positive links in the local community.
- Deliver the highest standards of care and support on a consistent basis.
- Be fully compliant with the organisational values and requirements of the provision.
- Sound I.T. and numerical skills along with a flexible, resilient, and thoughtful approach to your practice.
- Be able to complete accurate documentation with attention to detail.

Active Package example:
Mon - Fri: £20ph
Weekends - £22.50ph
+ £2.50 enhancements (night shifts)
You MUST have:
- At least 1 year experience as a support worker or healthcare assistant working with significant challenging behaviours in either secure or residential services.
- Experience working with individuals who display challenging behaviours.
- Be passionate about making a real difference to young people's lives, and supporting them to be as independent, safe, healthy, and happy as they possibly can be.
- Theoretical and practical experience working with vulnerable young people and children.
- Right to work in the UK.
This post will require an Enhanced DBS check to be processed for the successful applicant.
This role will be suited for an individual who is seeking varied and flexible working pattern, working a mixture of half days, long days, and sleep ins. Only people who are interested and experienced in working with young people need apply due to the nature of the work.
