Job description
IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE - £25,000 - £27,000 – 8am -5pm Monday to Friday - 27 + stat holidays - Company pension – High Street Discounts - Onsite parking.
- Be responsible for the timely collection of debts within the business
- To ensure that all monies received by Bacs, Cheque or cash are allocated accurately to the correct customer account.
- To contact customers via telephone regarding required or overdue payments.
- To take and process payments received via telephone.
- To ensure the appropriate debt recovery procedures are followed once the account is overdue.
- To maintain comprehensive records of all steps taken to recover debts.
- Processing of customer credit notes ensuring they are authorised prior to proceeding.
- Dealing with customer queries in a timely manner.
- Review Credit Account applications and present for authorisation.
- Processing of customer invoices, along with scanning all backing documentation.
- Accurate data recording and filing of invoices.
- Deal with outgoing post and emailing of customer statements and invoices
- Experience in a Credit Control role
- SAP experience is desirable
- Strong finance and system experience in essential
- Experience in credit control and can come in and hit the ground running
- Credit Controller
