Job description
Jackson Hogg is exclusively supporting a multi-disciplinary consultancy, offering a wide variety of engineering and sustainability services, together with complementary specialisms, from locations across the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and North Africa.
The Credit Controller is primarily responsible for following up on outstanding credit across multiple offices and working across the finance team. You will provide a customer service and credit control function to ensure the prompt collection of assigned sales ledge debtors.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Chasing payments from a portfolio of clients
2. Collaborating and communicating with various levels of internal and external customers
3. Maintaining a debtors ledger by telephone and letter chasing
4. Dealing with copy invoice requests and invoice queries
5. Providing support to other team members as and when required
Knowledge / Experience
- A background in credit control or professional services would be welcome.
- Previous experience of working in a finance/accounts - either in an engineering consultancy or in a library etc would be highly advantageous.
- A good level of PC skills including Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent communications skills
