Credit Controller

Recruiting for a brand-leading and successful company, we are looking for a credit controller to join their friendly and highly collaborative team.

What You'll Be Doing:
As the credit controller, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and nurturing the sales ledger and client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Account Reconciliation: You'll be the custodian of the client’s accounts, expertly conducting monthly reconciliations. This will involve managing documents, uploading them securely, and maintaining our customer intranet portals.
  • Debt Detective: As a tenacious debt chaser, you'll employ various communication channels, from phone to email to written communications, to recover overdue payments. You'll confidently handle these matters, even up to the court summons stage.
  • Dispute Resolution Guru: Resolving invoice disputes will be your superpower. You'll proactively tackle customer queries and diligently work towards mutually beneficial solutions that facilitate timely payments.
  • Team Player & Communicator: You'll be the bridge between the internal and external sales and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination and streamlined account management.
  • Paperwork Prodigy: You'll be responsible for processing credit note requests and updating the internal systems promptly, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
  • Cash Allocation Wizz: Daily, you'll work your magic by allocating cash receipts accurately, leaving no room for discrepancies.
  • Gin Resolver: You'll review and tackle customers' Gins (Goods Issues Notifications) daily, putting your analytical skills to use and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Reliable Support System: In times of absence within the team, you'll be a dependable teammate, stepping in to lend a hand and keep things running smoothly.
  • Account Management Prowess: You have a proven track record in a similar role, and your attention to detail is second to none.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: You're a natural at tackling challenges head-on, always seeking creative solutions to ensure the accounts are in perfect order.
