Stratford

Full-time, 35 hours per week, weekdays, permanent

£28,000 + £3k performance related bonus + 22 days holiday + bank holidays + pension scheme

Our client is a not-for-profit financial institution, established over 20 years ago, whose goal is to give back to the local community by providing ethical finance to those in need.

They’re looking for a replacement credit controller to deal with the day-to-day credit control tasks within the organisation.

The ideal candidate would be somebody who has B2C credit control experience, an interest in helping others, and would be confident in talking to customers to develop payment plans over the phone. Personal finance experience would be a bonus too; if this is sounding like you, read on to find out more……

The role

· Undertake credit control tasks

· Chase bad debt

· Phoning customers to arrange payment plans

· Follow the credit control process

The Person

Essential

· GCSE English & Maths

· 2+ years’ credit control experience

· Specific experience dealing with personal debt (B2C) as opposed to business debt (B2B)

· Familiar with credit reporting & analytics

· Would be confident in running a credit control department

Desirable

· Educated to A-level/degree level (especially in a relevant subject)

· Experience working with TransUnion and/or Experian

· Personal finance/loans credit control experience

· Banking sector experience

· Not-for-profit sector experience

Experience:

  • credit control: 2 years (preferred)
  • B2C Credit Control: 1 year (preferred)
