Job description
As AMP Clean Energy’s Renewable Heat business continues to grow, we are looking for a Junior Credit Controller.
Purpose of the role:
- To ensure all customers pay to the companies Terms
- To keep debtors to a minimum
- Adhere to and maintain Credit policy for AMP Clean Energy
- Reduce the risk of bad debt to the company
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner for each debtor book.
- Meet cash & debtor targets.
- To forge good working relationships with internal stakeholders (sales, customer service, service team etc.)
- Set and agree credit limits and payment terms for new and existing accounts using online credit checking facility with manager’s guidance.
- Assist line manager in the maintenance and review of existing credit limits and terms.
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and update systems
- Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
- Escalate issues promptly when needed.
- Travel may also be required to other sites within the company from time to time.
- Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Credit Control Manager or any other person designated in their absence.
The candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Minimum experience within a similar role preferred
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Willingness to learn and develop within the rol

Renumeration:
We are offering a competitive salary, which will be discussed at interview.
Details:
- Location: Hooton, CH66 7NZ
- Hours of work: 40 per week, 8:30 – 17:00
- Annual holiday entitlement is 26 days. In addition, you will have an annual entitlement of 8 days for public holidays.
