We’re Kaplan International Languages and we're looking to hire a new colleague for our Credit Control team - with an immediate start.
About the role
We’re looking for a Credit Controller - Accounts Receivable Clerk for an immediate start.
Taking ownership of your designated ledger, you’ll be focused on collecting outstanding balances in EURO, USD, CAD and GBP, from our network of sales agents, who recruit students for our schools.
As a Credit Controller, working in our Finance team, you’ll partner closely with our Sales and Customer Care teams, whilst also building effective relationships with our Sales agents in several countries across your designated region.
You’ll need to be someone who enjoys and understands all aspects of the process involved in collecting payment and keeping a clean ledger, whether that’s resolving a query, reconciling a complex set of transactions or agreeing a payment schedule. You’ll also be reconciling the General Ledger, raising intercompany invoices and helping the Cashier with receipting.
We are looking for someone who has the tenacity and will to apply their skills in a complex, multicurrency, international environment. You’ll benefit from the support of a highly experienced Finance Manager who knows our ledgers and credit control environment very well and will also be able to help you with learning the more technical elements of the role.
Working arrangements and location
Our working pattern is hybrid, with 3 days in our beautiful Hammersmith office and 2 days worked from home. We place a lot of value on the sense of teamwork and fun that comes from being together in one place. We have regular get togethers at lunchtimes or after hours so that colleagues can get to know one another and build great working relationships.

In addition to a base salary of up to £29,000 per annum depending on experience, we can offer full study support for CICM qualifications.
