Salary - £22,000 - £30,000 Per Annum Negotiable Depending on Experience
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients who are a global leader in high-performance insulation and building envelope solutions. This role specifically will be part of their insulated panels sector where you will be working on a range of their products which include roof panels, wall panels, fabrications & gutters, daylight solutions, energy solutions & protection systems. This specific position will be for my clients FSEL – Fabrication, safety, energy & lighting division based at their office in Holywell. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for a technical specification consultant – Revit Technician to join their busy team. They have an exciting opportunity within their UK & Ireland Tech-eXchange Team for the Insulated Panels division for a Revit based Technical Specification Consultant. You will have experience with Revit / BIM and worked within a construction or manufacturing environment. My client would also consider a fresh ambitious graduate for the role.
Responsibility & Duties
- Help develop a new specification consultation service aimed at positioning Kingspan Insulated Panels as the “go to” business for specification and early-stage design support in Great Britain and Ireland.
- Work closely with the BIM / technical team to provide bespoke design support to architects via AutoCAD and Revit while showcasing 3D details in different software packages and in augmented reality,
- Deliver Revit content bundles to customers and assist customers with modelling queries using platforms like BIM360 and Trimble Connect,
- Develop and issue system specifications, and a bank of master specifications on NBS Chorus.
- Take incoming calls and respond to emails from designers while also continuously offering virtual face to face engagement, virtual specification consultations and follow up face to face meetings if required for external commercial teams.
- Ensure all technical content / data is up to date on third party websites such as BIM-Store and NBS Source.
Experience & Qualification
- Honours degree in architectural technology or similar construction related qualification
- Revit, AutoCAD ideal
- NBS Chorus (specification platform) advantageous
- Salesforce, Microsoft office applications
- Portfolio
