Location: Fordham Road Newmarket CB8 (based at the Regional Credit office)
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday Salary : up to £10.95 per hour

What is an Credit Controller?
A Credit Controller is responsible for collecting invoices and ensures that credit given to customers is monitored. Duties include processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements, daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations, and resolving non-paid invoices.
Summary of the Apprenticeship Role
As a Credit Control apprentice , you will be working in our Regional Credit office working on all aspects of credit controls from a range of branches throughout the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone like you to start your career in Credit Control and to understand/develop in this sector.
We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice to join our Credit Control Team. After full training, responsibilities will include:
- General administration tasks
- Data input and allocation of customer payments
- Dealing with queries about payments
- Timely and effective chasing of overdue dept by telephone and email
- Liaising with other branches regarding overdue payments
- Maintain accurate records of activity with customers regarding payments
- Additional responsibilities as experience develops
Apprenticeship Training
As an apprentice you will complete a Credit Control Level 2 qualification with a national Training Provider. Your apprenticeship Training will focus on your job, is completed at the workplace, and you will be allocated a tutor and a study session in your working week.
Components of the Credit Control Apprenticeship Lv2
· Competence/Knowledge based qualification
· Functional Skills – Maths/ English (if required)
· End Point Assessment – Final Knowledge Test, Observation and Discussion

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, and all being well, there will be a full-time role with the company. From there you could progress to other job roles such as external sales, team leader, assistant manager and even Branch Manager.
