Job description
The Billing & Credit Control Manager will report to the Transaction Manager and will oversee the following:
Manage and enhance the collection and risk strategy for the Credit Control team
Owner and Responsible for KPI pack including DSO, Bad Debt, Ageing Collections and all dimensions of the Credit Control process
Oversee the entire billing process for all customers and ensuring impacted partners are fully informed of schedule and progress during billing periods
Work with the international & local Revenue teams (Incl. Deliveroo for Work, Digital Marketing, partnerships and packaging) to educate on Credit Control processes, to facilitate collections and to build collaborative long term relationships
Manage the end-to-end Dunning collections process via Sidetrade
Lead the Credit Assessment process for new and current customers
Identify and allocate unallocated cash together with Treasury and Financial Reporting and optimising the use of Blackline Cash application
Reconcile cross border and multi currency customer accounts
Recruit, training and retaining talent for the Billing and Credit Control Teams
Requirements
A Member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management
Minimum ten years of Credit Control experience with at least five years of experience in a managerial role
Experience working in companies with an international presence
Previous experience working with manual processes as well as recent experience working in highly automated, high volume environments
Strong ERP system experience and knowledge of accounting packages
Knowledge of Sidetrade and Blackline
Enthusiasm to embrace working in a high growth fast changing and ambiguous environment
Great presentation/communication skills for educating and engaging internal clients on policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets); ability to cleanse, analyse and present data
Strong planning to balance and prioritise work
