GroundUp Property Group is a small, family run business, who offers 24/7 nationwide contractor providing, covering all disciplines.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic and ambitious, as we anticipate the role growing as the business continues to expand both in volume of work, our customer base and the areas of the industry we work within. We have grown hugely over the last 18 months, and we wish to continue the momentum.
The successful applicant will provide day to day administration, processing and credit control in order to maintain efficient running of the Finance Department.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Key Responsibilities include:
Finance Assistants must be prepared to multi-task as you will be expected to work on multiple administrative projects at the same time.
- Credit control and debt recovery
- Processing supplier invoices
- Processing subcontractor invoices and deducting correct tax.
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Processing bank payments
- Multiple Bank Reconciliations
- Payroll preparation and relevant deductions
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
- Scanning, filing and logging account documents.
- Processing sales invoice
- Prepayment / Accruals
- Assisting with preparation of Financial reports
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
