Job description
Function: Group Finance Operations
Sub-function: OTC
Reports to: Collections Manager
Location: Hybrid working (Manchester contract)
Role purpose:
To ensure timely settlement of outstanding invoices, through contact with customer by telephone, e-mail and letter.
To contact customers with overdue balances to establish and resolve the reason for the unpaid debt.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Liaise with customers to ensure that payments are received within allowed credit terms.
- Establish details of complex customer queries and own the resolution of issues preventing payment, through involvement with other departments as required.
- Ensure that cash receipts are identified and allocated as agreed with the customer, through provision of a remittance advice, or allocation details.
- Ensures customer contact details and contacts are up to date
- Provides statements and copy invoices to customers to enable payment
- Credit control experience
- Computer Skills (word, excel)
- Communication skills (telephone/email)

- Ability to prioritise and work accordingly
- Organisation ability
- SAP knowledge (optional)
