Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) is a leading global real estate services firm that delivers exceptional value for real estate occupiers and owners.

This is a great position within C&W’s very profitable, diverse and market leading Rating and Statutory Valuations team. This is an opportunity for an experienced Rating Surveyor who would like to add additional skill sets to their arsenal.

While this team does conduct rating instructions, they are also heavily involved in compulsory purchase and tax valuations. The services that they offer to their clients (the likes of Center Parcs, Rolls Royce, Facebook, and GlaxoSmithKline) are all encompassing.

Although their instructions fall within the realm or rating/CPO/statutory valuation, this team also works closely in cross selling with other C&W teams, such as the development appraisals and agency teams, offering a complete service to our clients.

Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the team plan to develop a client portfolio
  • Maintain client relationships and act as liaison with clients on specific projects
  • Support the team profile in the market
  • Ensure professional advice is provided thoroughly, accurately and within set deadlines
  • Deliver activities and projects within client expectations (e.g. time, quality)
  • Work collaboratively to generate new instructions and pool expertise within the team
  • Develop internal and external network for business pipeline/opportunities.
  • Consult internally and externally to help identify optimum solutions for clients

Qualifications:

  • Degree level qualification
  • Chartered Surveyor – MRICS

Knowledge & Experience:

  • General practice background for either a corporate, public sector or private practice (for more senior roles)
  • Experience of working in a large practice and/or corporate environment could be advantageous
  • Rounded experience of general surveying skills – not restricted to a narrow practice area
  • An understanding of business development and client relationship management
  • Demonstrable technical competence in areas relevant to role
  • Demonstrable understanding of market and local knowledge
  • Business and report writing experience

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced individual to join a market leading team, significantly progressing their career.
