Big Fridge Productions is a dynamic and innovative film production company, dedicated to creating compelling content across various mediums. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Creative Producer Intern to join our team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of film production.
Responsibilities:
Critiquing and organizing film festivals:
- Evaluate and critique films submitted to the festival.
- Assist in the selection process for films to be showcased.
- Coordinate logistical aspects of the festival, such as scheduling and venue arrangements.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless and successful event.
Supporting pre-production for indie films, music videos, and TV shows:
- Assist in research and development of concepts and ideas.
- Collaborate with the production team in organizing and coordinating pre-production activities.
- Contribute to location scouting, casting, and budgeting.
- Assist in creating production schedules and managing project timelines.
Ideation for scripts, storyboards, and commercials:
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for scripts and concepts.
- Contribute to the development of compelling storylines and characters.
- Assist in creating storyboards and visualizing concepts.
- Provide feedback and input during scriptwriting and concept development stages.
Subtitling for movies and TV shows:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of subtitles for films and TV shows.
- Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of subtitles.
- Review and proofread subtitles for accuracy, grammar, and timing.
- Coordinate with translators to ensure high-quality translations for subtitles.
Technical skills:
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technology used in film production.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Strong passion for film and storytelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Basic understanding of film production processes and terminology.
