About the role

Come and work with us at Bath Spa University, and join our team as we work toward implementing a city-wide cultural strategy to support the arts and culture across the city and the region.
The Studio’s Creative Producer will work across two areas of Bath Spa University, the Centre for Creative and Cultural Industries (CCCI) and Research and Enterprise to support Studio residents, businesses as well as researchers and academics to develop projects and support business development through bespoke producer support as well developing networking and events and supporting grant applications.
This role also supports the University’s impact team by delivering and supporting high quality impact activities and events in support of our AHRC Impact Accelerator Award to engage the wider community with the research impact of the University. In addition, the Creative Producer will establish a programme of events supporting University colleagues to engage students in Resident activities and internship opportunities.
This role will be based at The Studio, in central Bath.
About you (requirements)
This role will suit someone with a background in arts and culture, community arts, public engagement, knowledge exchange, and/or creative producing. You will be a creative thinker, accustomed to collaborating with different kinds of people and teams, from artists and academics to micro-businesses, large industry partners to arts and cultural organisations. You will be keen to see projects, prototypes, and individuals succeed through developing and supporting conversations and connections, as well as advocacy and opportunity-spotting.

Our innovation hub in the centre of town, The Studio at Palace Yard Mews, provides a focal point for new relationships between the University and the creative tech sector in the city, as well as a supporting and nurturing environment for creatives working in technology to experiment through projects and innovate so they can sustainably grow their businesses and practice.
