SUMMARY
You are an experienced marketing professional with plenty of initiative who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic, fast paced, and progressive environment in the fitness industry.
This role is one that is varied and instrumental to the business. Working with a cross functional team, your primary goal is to support activities that generate awareness, introduce new clients and build community for the Barry's brand. As such, it will provide a brilliant opportunity for someone who is ambitious, proactive, and looking to take the next step in their career.
This role requires experience or relevant qualifications within graphic design, content creation, copy and marketing communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design
- Design, approve and deliver all assets for campaigns
- Coordinate and approve designs with the US team before sharing with database
- Find and negotiate the right printing providers
Content creation
- Support and propose content ideas to keep all campaign assets updated, on brand and engaging as well as the execution
- Work with third parties to take content for all relevant platforms including social media
Digital Marketing
- Work with the marketing director to create a Digital marketing strategy
- Support marketing team with email marketing campaigns, paid digital advertising from social to search. Responsible for creative briefs, assisting with creative assets for digital and media amplifications, and analysis of campaign performance.
- Manage grow and maintain the organic social media channels
- Design and schedule the marketing comms to our database
Copywriting & Checking
- Work with Marketing Team for all copy creation for collateral created in UK
- Creating and implementing a copy checklist to ensure consistency
Event Management
- Identify potential 'on brand' events: collecting information, quotes and presenting to Marketing Director
- Playing a key role in event management and coordination. Creating, organising and implementing Barry's UK events in studio and approved out-of-studio locations
- Liaising with event organisers, organising and implementing large scale events
- Creating, organising and implementing Barry's parties for clients, charities and community
- Providing post-production marketing support to clients. Obtaining and examining strategic marketing data and stats.

Please note that some travel may occasionally be required, including to national sites
Working hours
You'll generally work a standard 9am to 6pm day but hours could sometimes include shift or weekend work. There may also be a requirement to work extra hours to meet deadlines.
This role would be for all UK Barry's Studio's.
Requirements
- 2 year of relevant marketing or sales experience within a similar industry (preferred)
- University level Marketing/Business education (preferred)
- Proficiency in adobe photoshop, indesign and other marketing design systems as well as video content edition systems
- Highly organized and able to manage various multiple projects/tasks at once
- Team player; enjoys working with other people on multi-channel campaigns/multi-departmental projects (also enjoys working on individual projects)
- Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable cold calling, traveling around sites and conversing with teams or third parties on a regular basis
- Highly creative and full of ideas and energy for driving our brand forward
- Strong interest in the fitness industry
- Aware of data protection
- Can-do attitude and resourceful
