Who We Are Looking For
The role of the Creative Lead, Frieze Branded Content (maternity cover) is to oversee the content strategy and delivery for Frieze fairs and other initiatives. This includes videos, interviews, picture stories, news articles and profiles which tell compelling stories about Frieze programmes, while meeting key PR and commercial objectives for the company. The focus is digital content, in addition to the annual print publication Frieze Masters magazin as well as fair-related stories in Frieze Week magazine
The Creative Lead reports to the Head of Frieze Studios & Branded Content; they manage a Producer and Production Assistant and co-manage a Senior Editor. Their team works in close collaboration with fair directors and the PR, Marketing, editorial and VIP teams. Their focus is on non-sponsored content which promotes Frieze programmes to the fairs’ general and VIP audiences, ensuring that all content maintains consistency with Frieze tone of voice.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

Lead on editorial and creative concept for Frieze Branded content, supporting the campaigns for Frieze Fairs and other ad-hoc projects

Oversee required research, collating information and imagery to build the content plan for each campaign

Develop concepts and ideas for Frieze-branded video and editorial, collaborating with the team in order to generate concepts and brainstorm ideas

Develop concepts which meet the PR and marketing objectives for each campaign, whilst adhering to Frieze’s values and objectives

Create and commission content for Frieze brand-related projects across all Frieze media channels, including Frieze.com, Frieze Masters Magazine, and bespoke brand publications and online editorial

Ensuring image research and clearance, copy editing and sign off for above-outlined content is completed

Manage and coordinate the delivery of multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines

Line-manage a Content Producer and Production Assistant, as well as multiple freelancers

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position.

Please note this role will be based at our offices in Surrey Street, London.

Working hours are 10:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate

Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule

There will be travel to the US required as part of this role, during events and on shorter trips when required.
