Job description
The back story of why the role is needed
Rooster Punk is a B2B specialist agency, and we're expanding our award-winning creative team to include a middleweight copywriter from an advertising background. We’re especially keen to hear from you if you have both B2B and B2C agency experience.
You will work in partnership with an art director to develop campaign concepts – so experience of working in a copywriter / art director pairing will be a distinct advantage.
As well as being able to come up with ‘big ideas’, you’ll need to be an excellent craftsperson, with an exceptional standard of written English. We’re looking for someone who loves writing, and who can work at pace while keeping a sharp eye on the detail.
Rooster Punk has a reputation for delivering emotionally resonant creative work: our campaigns are moving, thought-provoking, charming, inspiring and funny – although not all at the same time. If you think you’re the right person to help us keep doing what we do well, get in touch.
This is a great opportunity to learn from a team of industry heavyweights, gaining new skills and carving out your own place within a rapidly expanding organisation.
Please note this is not a content writer position. Experience of delivering advertising concepts is an absolute must.

About Rooster Punk
We’re Rooster Punk, a creative storytelling agency focused on creating transformational growth for the world’s most ambitious business brands.
We practise our craft exclusively in the complex world of business-to-business. Why? Because it’s a sector full of visionary ideas and people, yet most B2B marketing is stuck in a rut of focusing on product functionality instead of emotional connection. We find these two opposing forces intoxicating, as they create an opportunity for us to take B2B marketing somewhere new. We call our approach Humanizing B2B - reflecting the need to shift to a world of B2B marketing that is focused on audiences and not just products.
Our unique storytelling approach is applied to branding projects, content and thought leadership, marketing campaigns and sales enablement activities. When we get it right, conversations flow and revenues grow. And that’s how every good story should finish – with a happy ending.
