We're looking for a creative artworker with good attention to detail.
Our candidate will be working closely with our busy creative team to produce: a wide variety of artwork for print and digital projects; visual concepts; supporting the studio manager and creative artworker, adhering to processes and monitoring quality of output.
You will be really creative but diligent in working to brand guidelines, you will have a good eye for layout and typography, meticulous attention to detail and fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Other programme knowledge will be a benefit.
Role:
- Taking a brief, in consultation with our in-house business development/account management team
- Creating artwork based on the brief
- Proofing the artwork
- Preparing materials for print using Adobe Suite software
- Follow workflow assigned jobs in a prioritised fashion and within the agreed deadline
- Prepare proofs and artwork as per clients briefs and to customer brand guidelines
- Operation of MAC and PC software
- Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Works on different projects simultaneously
- Works well under pressure and on own initiative
Key skills include:
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Understanding of digital and print production (able to respond well to difficult creative and production challenges)
- Skillset for retouching
- Good Office skills, Mac and PC Platform (PowerPoint and Word)
- Strong understanding of layout and typography
- Ability to follow and work within brand guidelines
- Able to manage time efficiently and to ensure artwork is delivered on time
- Well organised and resourceful (ensuring inhouse processes are followed)
- Confidence to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Be proactive in improving skillset and studio processes
You must be currently eligible to work in the UK and have a driving license. The role is full time, at our office in Basingstoke.
