The role
We are looking for a Creative Artworker to join our artwork team in Manchester and London to help deliver artwork across Co-op's entire media estate, one of the UK's most famous retail brands. In this role, you'll produce print ready artwork and digital animation across an array of different media channels such as eCommerce banners and digital posters. You will be given responsibilities from day one which will play a part in helping the Co-op partnership flourish and evolve. This role can either be a full-time role or one for someone looking to work 4 days per week!
What you'll be doing
We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like:
- Taking artwork briefs and being responsible for the time management, progress and overall quality of those projects, even under tight deadlines.
- Producing print ready artwork and uploading them onto printer servers with work codes as well as producing fully animated files for use in digital media.
- Ensuring Co-op's brand guidelines are always adhered to and working with account teams to deliver timely and high standard work that they need.
- Keeping our work platform Trello up to date and filing to a high standard.
What you'll need to have / be
- Demonstrable experience working as an Artworker in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to follow a detailed process and work within strict brand templates, ensuring that brand guidelines are being respected.
- A portfolio of artwork examples produced for agencies or brands.
- Proficient and experienced in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
- The ability to produce artwork across a range of digital and print touchpoints.
- Good organisational, design admin and layout skills with a keen eye for design and detail.

The process
- We will invite you to a first interview which we try to keep relatively informal, so it gives you the opportunity to share your authentic self. The hiring team will be looking to understand more about your experience and why you're interested in working with us.
- There will be a second interview which will last a little longer, and involve some form of task to showcase your ability to do the role.
- We then invite you to a meet & greet which is an opportunity for you to meet the team you'll be joining and ask them questions about the role and wider business.
