Job description
Horton Pharmacy is looking for a Data Entry and Marshalling Assistant to support the operations of our COVID Clinic. This is a part-time role and the ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours potetntially including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients at the clinic and provide them with the necessary instructions for their visit
- Collect and verify patient information including demographic details, medical history and insurance information
- Enter patient information accurately into the clinic's database
- Help with marshalling patients through the clinic and ensure that they follow the proper protocols
- Assist with monitoring the queue and ensuring social distancing measures are observed
- Liaise with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when entering data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect patient information
- Flexibility to potentially work evenings and weekends

Salary: £6.70-£10.31 per hour
